Yahweh, Save Me

¹O Yahweh, how my adversaries have become many!

Many are rising up against me.

²Many are saying of my soul,[#3:2 Or to]

“There is no salvation for him in God.” Selah.

³¶But You, O Yahweh, are a shield about me,

My glory, and the One who lifts my head.

⁴I was calling to Yahweh with my voice,

And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah.

⁵I lay down and slept;[#3:5 Or As for me, I]

I awoke, for Yahweh sustains me.

⁶I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people

Who all around have set themselves against me.

⁷¶Arise, O Yahweh; save me, O my God!

For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek;

You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.

⁸Salvation belongs to Yahweh;[#3:8 Or Deliverance]
