¹Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,[#Ps 25:2]

which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

²As the mountains surround Jerusalem,

so the Lord surrounds His people,

from this time forth and forevermore.

³For the scepter of the wicked shall not rest[#Pr 22:8]

on the land allotted to the righteous,

lest the righteous put forth

their hands to do wrong.

⁴Do good, O Lord , to those who are good,[#Ps 119:68]

and to those who are upright in their hearts.

⁵As for those who turn aside to their crooked ways,[#Pr 2:15]

the Lord will lead them away with the workers of iniquity.
