¹O God, You have rejected us; You have broken our defenses;[#Ps 44:9]

You have been displeased; oh, restore us.

²You have made the earth tremble; You have split it open;[#2Ch 7:14]

heal its breaches, for it is shaking.

³You have shown Your people hardship;[#Ps 71:20]

You have given us wine to drink that makes us stagger.

⁴You have given a banner to those who fear You,[#Ps 20:5; Isa 11:12]

that they may flee to it from the bow. Selah

⁵That Your beloved may be delivered,

save with Your right hand and answer us!

⁶God has spoken in His holiness:

“With exultation will I divide Shechem,

and measure out the Valley of Sukkoth.

⁷Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine;

Ephraim also is My helmet;

Judah is My scepter;

⁸Moab is My wash basin;

upon Edom will I cast My shoe;

Philistia, shout in triumph because of Me.”

⁹Who will bring me to the fortified city?

Who will lead me to Edom?

¹⁰Have You not rejected us, O God?

And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?

¹¹O grant us help against the adversary,

for vain is the help of man.

¹²With God we shall do valiantly,

for it is He who will tread down our enemies.
