¹that, which was from the beginning on, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have considered and our hands have touched, about the Word of life—

²and this life is revealed become, and we have seen and bear witness and declare to you this eternal life, which was with the Father and has self appear to us (Shlichim)—

³what we have seen and heard, this declare we you (PL) on, so that also you (PL) shall have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Yehoshua the Moshiach;

⁴and this write we, so that our joy shall be full.

⁵and the these is the message, which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that Hashem is light, and any darkness is in Him not there.

⁶when we say, that we have fellowship with Him, and go in the darkness, say we lie, and do not the truth;

⁷when however we go in the light, as He is in the light, have we fellowship one with the other, and the blood of Yehoshua, His Son, cleanses us from every sin.

⁸when we say, that we have not any sin, deceive we self alone, and the truth is not in us.

⁹when we are ourselves confess about our sin, is He faithful and just that He shall us forgive do the sin and us cleanse from every unrighteousness. (Proverbs 28, 13.)

¹⁰when we say, that we have not sinned, make we Him for a liar, and His word is not in us.
