chapter five

¹every one, who believes, that Yehoshua is the Moshiach, this one is born of Hashem; and every one, who has love the One, who was born, has also loved the one, who is born become of Him.

²by the this recognize we, that we have loved Hashem's children, when we have love Hashem and do His commands.

³because the these is the love to Hashem: that we should keep His commandments; and His commands are not hard.

⁴because all, who are born become of Hashem, is overcome the world; and the these is the victory, which has conquered the world: our faith.

⁵and who is it, who is overcome the world, if not the one, who believes, that Yehoshua is the Son of the Most High?

⁶He is the One, who is come by water and blood, Yehoshua the Moshiach; not only with the water alone, but with the water and with the blood. and it is the Spirit, who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.

⁷for there are three, which say witness:

⁸the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three are united.

⁹if we accept on the witness say of men, so is greater the witness say of Hashem; because the these is the witness say of Hashem, which He has witness said about His Son.

¹⁰who it believes in the Son of the Most High, that one has the witness in self alone; who it believes not Hashem, that (one) has Him made for a liar, because he has not believed in the witness, which Hashem has witness said about his Son.

¹¹and the these is the witness: that Hashem has us given eternal life; and the these life is in the Son His.

¹²who it has the Son, that (one) has the life; who it has not the Son of the Most High, that (one) has not the life.

¹³the these things have I you (PL) written, so that you (PL) shall know, that you (PL) have eternal life; the (ones), who believe in the Name of the Son of the Most High.

¹⁴and this is the confidence, which we have to Him: that when we ask something according to His will, hears He us;

¹⁵and if we know, that He hears us, about what we ask, know we, that we have the requests, which we have asked of Him.

¹⁶when someone sees his brother sin a sin, which is not to the death, shall he ask (for for his sake), and He (Hashem) will him give life, for the (one), which sins not to the death. there is a sin to the death; not for that say I, that he shall ask!

¹⁷every iniquity is a sin; and there is a sin not to the death.

¹⁸we know, that every one, who is born become of Hashem, sins not; but the one, who is born of Hashem, keeps watch over himself, and the evil one touches him not on.

¹⁹we know, that we are of Hashem, and the whole world lies in the (power) of the evil one.

²⁰and we know, that the Son of the Most High is come and us did give a understanding, so that we should recognize the true; and we are in the true, in His Son Yehoshua the Moshiach. this is the true G-d and the eternal life.

²¹children (in Moshiach), keep yourselves from the idols.
