chapter two

¹we implore you (PL) however, brothers, about the coming of our L-rd Yehoshua the Moshiach and our being gathered ourselves with Him,

²that you (PL) shall yourselves not let quickly move in your mind, and not be alarmed, not by any spirit, not by any word, not by any letter as from us, immediately as the Day of the L-rd would already here be;

³let you (PL) anyone not mislead never way; because (He will not come) if it will not before all come the fall away heresy (from faith), and the man of sin will revealed be, the son of destruction,

⁴who stands himself opposed and raises up himself over all, that is called G-d or worship; so, that he will himself sit down in the Heikhal of Hashem, showing himself, that he is G-d.

⁵(question) remember you (PL) then not, that while I am yet was with you (PL), have I you (PL) this said?

⁶and now know you (PL), what there holds back, that he shall revealed be in his appropriate time.

⁷because the mystery of lawlessness works already; only the one, who restrains now, must taken away be from the midst.

⁸and then will revealed be the evil one, whom the L-rd Yehoshua will slay with the breath of his mouth and him destroy with the appearing of his coming;

⁹that his coming is according to the working of the Satan with much power and false signs and wonders,

¹⁰and with every deception of unrighteousness for those, who become lost, because they have not embraced the love of truth, so that saved to become.

¹¹and on account of that sends them Hashem a powerful deception, that they shall believe the lie;

¹²so that all shall judged be, which have not believed the truth, but have had a pleasure in wickedness.

¹³we however are obligated always to thank Hashem for you (PL), brothers, beloved of Hashem, because from beginning on did Hashem you (PL) choose to salvation in the holiness by the Spirit and in the faith in (the) truth;

¹⁴to which He has you (PL) also called through our News Good, to obtaining the glory of our L-rd Yehoshua the Moshiach.

¹⁵stand then fast, brothers, and keep the traditions, which you (PL) have taught been, both through our word, and through our a letter.

¹⁶and our L-rd Yehoshua the Moshiach Himself and G-d the Father ours, who has us love had and us given an eternal comfort and a good hope in His grace,

¹⁷shall encourage your (PL) hearts and (you (PL)) strengthen in all kinds of deeds good and every good word.
