blessed the reader and the (ones), who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what stands written therein; because the time is near.

John to the seven kehiles in (Minor) Asia: grace to you (PL) and peace from Him, Who is and was and will come; and from the seven spirits, who are before His throne of glory;

and from Yehoshua the Moshiach, who is the trustworthy witness, the firstborn of the the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. to Him, Who has us loved, and has us redeemed from our sin through His own blood,

and us made for a kingdom, kohenim to Hashem and His Father; to Him shall be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

I am alef and tav, says the L-rd G-d, Who is and was and comes, the Almighty.

I John, your brother and fellow sharer in the sufferings and kingdom and perseverance of Yehoshua, was on the island of, which is called Patmos, on account of Hashem's word and the witness say of Yehoshua.

I was in the Spirit in the day of the L-rd, and did hear behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,

so to say: what you (SG) see, this write in a book and send it to the seven kehiles: to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.

and I have me turn back, to see the voice, which has spoken with me. and turning back myself, have I seen seven lampstands of gold;

and in the midst of the lampstands One, like to the Son of Man (Daniel 7, 13), garbed in a long bekeshe, and gird around the chest with a golden belt/gartel.

and His head and His hair are was white, as white wool, as snow; and His eyes, as a flame of fire (Daniel 7, 9.);

and His feet, as fine copper, while/as it glows in furnace; and His voice, as the sound of a many waters.

and has had in His right hand seven stars; and from His mouth goes out a circumcision-sharp-like two-edged sword; and His face did shine as the sun in its might.

and when I had him seen, did I fall down before His feet, as a dead man. and He did put His right hand on me, and said: have not any fear; I am the first and the last,

and the living One; I was dead, and look live I forever and ever, and have the key of death and of Sheol Deepest.

write therefore what you (SG) have seen, and what is, and what will happen after this;

the mystery of the seven stars, which you (SG) have seen on my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands. the seven stars are angels of the seven kehiles; and the seven lampstands are the seven kehiles.
