chapter eleven

¹and it was to me given a reed, likened to a scale; and to me said: stand up, and measure the Heikhal of Hashem, and the altar, and those, which prostrate oneself therein.

²and the outer court of the Heikhal shall you (SG) leave out, and it not measure, because it is given become to the nations (of the world); and the holy city will they trample two and forty months long.

³and I will give my two witnesses, and they will prophecies say one thousand two hundred and sixty days long, clothed in sackclothes.

⁴the these are the two olive trees and the two lampstands, which stand before the Lord of the world.

⁵and if anyone wants them harm to do, goes out a fire from their mouth and devours their enemies; and if anyone will them want harm to do, must he just so perish.

⁶the these have the authority to shut the heaven, so that it shall not fall any rain in the days of their prophecy; and have power over the waters, to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often they want only.

⁷and when they will finish their witness say, will the beast, who comes up out of the abyss, war wages with them, and them overcome do, and them kill.

⁸and their bodies will be lying on the street of the great city, which, spiritually speaking, is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their L-rd is hung up on the tree become.

⁹and (people) of nations and tribes and tongues and nations look on their dead bodies three and a half days long, and permit not, that should put their dead bodies in a tomb (Isaiah 53:9; Ps 16:10) into.

¹⁰and the inhabitants on the earth rejoice themselves over them, and are themselves making merry; and will themselves send (celebratory) gifts one the other; because the these two prophets have tormented the inhabitants on the earth.

¹¹and after three and a half days is entered in them a spirit of life of Hashem, and they have self stand on their feet; and a great fear did fall on the (ones), who did them see.

¹²and did hear a loud voice from heaven say to them: come up here! and they did go up in heaven into in a cloud; and their enemies did them see.

¹³and in that hour is was a great earthquake, and a tenth (fraction) of the city has collapsed; and in the earthquake did perish seven thousand people; and the remaining are full become with fear, and did give glory to the G-d of heaven.

¹⁴the second woe did pass; look comes the third woe in a short time.

¹⁵and the seventh angel did sound (his shofar); and there did come loud rumblings in heaven, so to say: the kingdoms of the world has become (the kingdoms) of our L-rd and of His Moshiach; and He will reign/rule forever and ever. (Daniel 7, 13-14.)

¹⁶and the four and twenty elders, which sit on their thrones before Hashem, did fall down on their faces and did themselves worship to Hashem,

¹⁷and said: we thank you (SG), L-rd G-d, Almighty, who is and are was; because you (SG) did take your great authority and rule/reign.

¹⁸and the nations did become furious, and your wrath did come, and the time of the dead (ones), judged to become, and to give the reward to your servants the prophets, and to the kedoishem, and those, who have fear self before Your Name, the small and the great, and to destroy those destroyers of the earth.

¹⁹and there has self open up the Heikhal of Hashem in heaven, and in His Heikhal has self appear the ark of the covenant; and there did come flashes (lightning) and rumblings and thunders and an earthquake and a immense hail.
