chapter seventeen

¹and there is come one of the seven angels, which did have the seven vessels, and did speak with me, so to say: come, I will you (SG) to show the judgment of the Great Harlot, who sits on many waters;

²with whom the kings of the earth have fornication did, and the inhabitants of the earth did self make drunk with the wine of her fornication.

³and he has me led away in the Spirit in a wilderness into; and I did see a woman sitting on a scarlet red Beast, full with names of blasphemy, and with seven heads and ten horns.

⁴and the woman was garbed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, and did have a golden goblet in her hand, full of abominations and the impurity of her fornication,

⁵and on her forehead is was inscribed a name, a mystery; Babylon the Great, the mother of the prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth.

⁶and I did see the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of Yeshua's witnesses. and seeing her, did I amazed become with a great amazement.

⁷and the angel did to me say; why you are amazed become? I will you (SG) tell the mystery of the woman, and of the Beast, which carries her and which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

⁸the Beast, who you (SG) did see, was, and is (more) not, and will ascend out from the abyss and go to corruption. and the inhabitants on the earth, whose name are not written in the book of life from the creation of the world on, will themselves wonder, when they will see the Beast, that it was and is (more) not and will again be.

⁹here is the mind, which has wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits;

¹⁰and are seven kings; five are fallen, one is here, the another is yet not come; and when he will come, must he remain a short time.

¹¹and the beast, who was and is (more) not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven; and goes to destruction.

¹²and the ten horns, which you (SG) you did see, are ten kings, which have yet not received any kingdom; but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.

¹³the these have one mind, and give their power and authority to the beast.

¹⁴they will war wage with the Lamb, and the Lamb will them overcome do, because He is L-rd over l-rds, and King over kings; and those, who are with Him, are those who are called and chosen and faithful.

¹⁵and he says to me: the waters, which you (SG) did see, where the harlot sits, are nations and multitudes people and nations and languages.

¹⁶and the ten horns, which you (SG) did see, and the Beast, they will hate the harlot, and will her make desolate and naked, and will devour her flesh, and her burn in fire.

¹⁷because Hashem has it them given in their hearts into, to do his purpose, and to make one authority, and to give their kingdom to the Beast, until Hashem's words will fulfilled be.

¹⁸and the woman, whom you (SG) did see, is the great city, who has a kingdom of over the kings of the earth.
