Creator of heaven and earth.

³Hᴇ will not let your foot slip.

Your guardian will not slumber.

⁴Indeed, the guardian of Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

⁵YHWH is your guardian.

YHWH is your shade on your right hand.

⁶The sun will not harm you by day,

nor the moon by night.

⁷YHWH will guard you from all evil.

Hᴇ will guard your soul.

⁸YHWH will guard your going out and your coming in,

both now and forever more.
