letter to the Jews 7

chapter seven

because the this one Malki-tzedek, King of Shalem, a kohen of G-d the Most High, who is gone to meet Abraham, when he did self return from the slaughter of the kings and him blessed,

to whom Abraham has apportioned tenth of everything—first means his name king of righteousness (quote unquote) and then also King of Shalem (quote unquote), that means king of peace (quote unquote); (Genesis 14, 18-20.)

without a father, without a mother, without a genealogy, having not any beginning of days and not any end of life, however likened to the Son of the Most High, remains a kohen on eternal.

well, consider how great was the this one man, to whom Abraham our father has given tithe of the war spoils.

and the (ones), of the sons of Levi, who have received the kehunah, have a commandment of the Torah, to take tenth/tithe from people, that means their brothers, although they have come out of Abraham's loins;

however he (Malki-tzedek), who is descended not up from them, has taken tithe from Abraham and blessed him, who has had the promises.

and it is after all without contradiction, that the inferior becomes blessed of the superior.

and here take mortal (Num 18:21) men tithes, there however one (Gen 14:18-22), about whom it is witness said, that he lives (that is, in his antitype Moshiach, Ps 110:4).

and, it is so to say, through Abraham has also Levi, he, who takes tithe, has given tithe;

because he (Levi) is still then was in the loins of his father (Abraham), when Malki-tzedek is him (Abraham) gone to meet (Gen 14:18-20).

therefore, if the perfection (5:6; 6:20) would actually be through the priesthood of the Levi'im, under which the Torah was given to the people, why is yet necessary, that an another kohen gadol shall arise according to the order of Melchizedek (Ps 110:4), and not called to be according to the order of Aharon (Ex 28:1)?

because with the change in the kehunah must also be a change in the Torah.

because He, of whom the these things are said become, has belong to an another tribe, from which anyone has not serve at the altar.

because it is clear, that our L-rd has descended from Yehudah, about which tribe Moses has nothing said who concerning kohenim.

and it is even more clear, if an other kohen stands up according to the likeness of Melchizedek,

who is not become according to a law of a physical (descent) commandment (Ex 28:1), but according to the power of an endless life;

because it is witness said become about him:

you (SG) are a kohen on eternity,

according to the order of Melchizedek.

because it occur indeed, that a former command becomes null and void on account of its weakness and ineffectualness (Gal 3:21).

because the Torah has nothing perfected made, but the bringing in of a better hope, through which we approach ourselves to Hashem.

and given that he is it not become without an oath, because they actually are become kohenim without an oath,

however He (Moshiach) with a oath through Him (Hashem), Who has to Him said:

the L-rd has sworn,

and will not any regret have:

you (SG) are a kohen on eternity;

so is Yehoshua become an guarantor of a better covenant.

and those however are become more numerical kohenim on account of that, what the death has them prevented to remain (in office);

however He (Moshiach), on account of that what He remains on eternal, has a priesthood unchangeable.

consequently can He also completely redeem the (ones), who come to Hashem through Him, because He lives eternal, so that self interceding to do for them.

because for us (it) was fitting such a kohen gadol, (who is) holy, blameless, pure, separated from sinners and raised up above the heavens;

who need Himself not day out day one, as those kohenim gedolim, before all offer to do sacrifices for own sin, then for the sin of the people; the these has He done once for always, offering making Himself alone.

because the Torah has appointed for kohenim gedolim men, who have had weakness; however the word of the oath, which is (come) later than the law, appointed the Son, who is made perfect for eternity.
