¹If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives youi a sign or a wonder,

²And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spoke unto youi , saying, Let us go after other gods, which youi have not known, and let us serve them;

³youi shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] proves you, to know whether you2f love the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] with all your heart and with all your soul.

⁴You2f shall walk after the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] , and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and you2f shall serve him, and cling to (hold onto; stick to) him.

⁵And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he has spoken to turn [you] away from the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] , which brought you out of the land of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place] , and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust youi out of the way which the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] commanded youi to walk in. So shall youi put the evil away from the midst of youi .

⁶If youi brother, the son of youi mother, or youi son, or youi daughter, or the wife of youi bosom, or youi friend, which [is] as youi own soul, entice youi secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which youi have not known, youi , nor youi fathers;

⁷[Namely] , of the gods of the people which [are] round about you, near unto youi , or far off from youi , from the [one] end of the earth even unto the [other] end of the earth;

⁸youi shall not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall youi eye pity him, neither shall youi spare, neither shall youi conceal him:

⁹But youi shall surely kill him; youi hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.

¹⁰And youi shall stone him with stones, that he die; because he has sought to thrust youi away from the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] , which brought youi out of the land of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place] , from the house of bondage.

¹¹And all Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.

¹²If youi shall hear [say] in one of youi cities, which the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has given youi to dwell there, saying,

¹³[Certain] men, the children of Belial [Worthless, Good for Nothing] , are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you2f have not known;

¹⁴Then shall youi enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, [if it be] truth, [and] the thing certain, [that] such abomination is wrought among you;

¹⁵youi shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that [is] in it, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

¹⁶And youi shall gather all the spoil (plunder; prey; booty) of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shall burn with fire the city, and all the spoil (plunder; prey; booty) thereof every whit, for the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] : and it shall be an heap forever; it shall not be built again.

¹⁷And there shall cleave (split open; cut open; divide) nothing (bad; vain) of the cursed thing to youi hand: that the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show youi mercy, and have compassion upon youi , and multiply youi , as he has sworn unto youi fathers;

¹⁸When youi shall hearken to the voice of the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] , to keep all his commandments which I command youi this day, to do [that which is] right in the eyes of the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] .
