chapter four

¹and furthermore, brothers, ask we and are you (PL) admonishing in the L-rd Yehoshua, that as you (PL) did receive become from us, how you (PL) ought selves to live pleasing to Hashem—and actually thus like you (PL) do that, that you (PL) shall it (do) much more.

²because you (PL) know (after all) what for a directive we have you (PL) given by the L-rd Yehoshua.

³because the these is Hashem's will, your making holy, that you (PL) should yourselves abstain from fornication;

⁴that every one of you (PL) shall know how to possess his own vessel in holiness and with honor,

⁵not in passion lusts, as the nations (of the world), who know not Hashem;

⁶and that anyone shall not violating his and deceive the brother his in this thing;

⁷because the L-rd is self avenge in all the these cases, as we had it (to) you (PL) previously said and expressly warned. because Hashem did us not call to impurity, rather to holiness.

⁸therefore the one, who scorns this, scorns not a man, but Hashem, who gives us also the Spirit the Holy.

⁹and that relates to brotherly love, need you (PL) not, one should write to you (PL), because you (PL) selves are taught by Hashem, love to have one the other;

¹⁰because you (PL) do it also to all brothers in all Macedonia. but we ask you (PL), that you (PL) shall after much more do,

¹¹and strive to lead a quiet life, and do the your affairs, and work with your (PL) own hands, exactly just as we have you (PL) directed,

¹²so that you (PL) shall behave respectably against the (ones), who are in outside, and not need to depend on anyone.

¹³and we wish not you (PL) shall be uninformed, brothers, about those, who have fallen asleep, so that you (PL) shall not to grieve, as the others, who have not any hope.

¹⁴because as we believe, that Yehoshua is died and stood up again, so will Hashem bring the sleeping in Yehoshua together with him.

¹⁵because the these say we (to) you (PL) in a word from the L-rd, that we, the living, who remain over until to the coming of the L-rd, will never way not go ahead of the sleeping;

¹⁶because the L-rd Himself will descend from heaven, with a sound, with the voice of the arch angel, and with the trumpet of Hashem; and the dead in the Moshiach will standing up again before all;

¹⁷then we, the living, who are left over, will together with them caught up be in the clouds, to meet the L-rd in the air; and thus will we always be with the L-rd.

¹⁸therefore shall you (PL) encourage one the other with the these words.
