Romans letter 11

Romans letter 11

chapter eleven

I say therefore, has then Hashem cast aside his people? mercy and peace! because also I am a son of Israel, of Abraham's seed, from the tribe of Benjamin.

Hashem has not rejected his people, whom He did know from before. or (question) know you (PL) not, what the verse says about Eliyahu, when he turned himself to Hashem against Israel, saying:

o L-rd, they have killed your prophets, they have destroyed your altars, and I am left one alone, and they seek my life. (Kings 1st 19, 14.)

however what tells him the voice of Hashem? I have Me left seven thousand men, who have not bowed any knee to the Baal. (Kings 1st 19, 18)

therefore also thus in the present time is there a remnant according to the election of grace.

if however through grace, is not more of deeds; because grace would then no longer be grace.

what then? what Israel seeks, that did he not attain, however the elect ones did it indeed attain, and the remaining were hardened become;

as it stands written: Hashem did them give a spirit of deep sleep, eyes, not to the see, and ears, not to the hear, until to the today's day. (Yeshayah 29, 10; Deuteronomy 29, 3.)

and David says: shall their table become for a trap, and to a net, and to a stumbling block, and a recompense to them;

shall their eyes darkened become, not to see, and their backs bowed always down. (Psalms 69, 23-24)

therefore say I, did they then stumble, so that they should fall? mercy and peace! but through their transgression is the salvation come to the not Jews, so as them jealous to make.

however if their transgression did become the riches of the world and their loss the riches of the nations, how much more their fullness!

I say however to you (PL) not Jews, on how much I am the Shliach to the not Jews—I glorify my ministry—

if I shall only be able to as it was jealous to make the (ones), who are my flesh (and blood) and save a part of them.

because if their being cast away to be is the (reason for) reconciliation for the world, what will already be their acceptance to be, if not life from the dead?

and if the portion offered of dough is holy, so is the whole dough also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches also holy.

and if some of the branches did broken off become, you (SG) however, being a wild olive tree, are grafted in become among them and are become with them a participant from the root of the olive tree and its fat richness,

boast then you not against the branches; (if) you do boast you however already yes, (remember then, that) not you (SG) carry the root, but the root you.

you will therefore say: the branches are broken off become, so that I shall grafted in become.

well, through unbelief are they broken off become, and you (SG) are standing through faith. keep then yourself not great, but have fear;

because if Hashem did not spare the natural branches, will He also you not spare!

see therefore the goodness and severity of Hashem; on those (who) fell—severity, however on you (SG)—goodness of Hashem, if you (SG) you will remain in the goodness; otherwise will you also chopped off become.

and those, if they will not remain in the unbelief, will also grafted in become; because Hashem can them again graft in.

because if you (SG) are cut out become of an olive tree, which is by nature wild, and unnaturally grafted become to a good olive tree, on how much more will the these in a natural way grafted in become to their own olive tree?!

because I want not, brothers, that you (PL) shall not know the this mystery, so that you (PL) shall yourselves not hold for any wise men, that a partial hardening is come over Israel, until the fullness of the nations of the world will come in;

and thus will all Israel to be saved, as it stands written: the Redeemer will come from Zion, he will turn away ung-dliness from Jacob.

and this is my covenant with them, when I will them forgive do their sin. (Yeshayah 59, 20-21; Psalms 14, 7)

who concerning the News Good, are they enemies on account of you (PL), however who concerning the election are they beloved on account of the fathers.

because Hashem has not any regret on his gifts and calling.

because since you (PL) are once were disobedient to Hashem, now however have you (PL) received mercy through their disobedience,

thus are also they now disobedient become, so that through the mercy to you (PL) should they now also reach mercy.

because Hashem did everyone enclose/include in the disobedience, so that He shall be merciful to everyone.

o, who for a depth of riches and wisdom and knowledge of Hashem! how incomprehensible are His judgments and unsearchable His ways!

because who has known the mind of the L-rd? or who was His advisor?

or who has Him before given (a gift), and it shall to him recompensed to be? (Yeshayah 40, 13.)

as all is of Him and through Him and to Him; to him be glory on (to) eternity. Amen.
