Psalms 46

Psalms 46

1God is our refuge and strength,

a very present help in trouble.

2Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth changes,

though the mountains topple into the soul of the seas;

3though its waters roar and are troubled,

though the mountains quake with their swelling. Selah.

4There is a river, the streams of which make glad the city of God,

the holy dwelling place of the Most High.

5God is within her. She will not be toppled.

God will help her at the morning dawn.

6The nations rage. The kingdoms are toppled.

Hᴇ lifted ʜɪꜱ voice and the earth melted.

7YHWH Almighty is with us.

The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8Y’all come and see the works of YHWH,

the desolations ʜᴇ has brought on the earth.

9Hᴇ stops wars to the end of the earth.

Hᴇ breaks the bow and shatters the spear.

Hᴇ burns the chariots with the fire.

10“Y’all need to relax and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the nations.

I will be exalted in the earth.”

11YHWH Almighty is with us.

The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
