¹God is our refuge and strength,

a very present help in trouble.

²Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth changes,

though the mountains topple into the soul of the seas;

³though its waters roar and are troubled,

though the mountains quake with their swelling. Selah.

⁴There is a river, the streams of which make glad the city of God,

the holy dwelling place of the Most High.

⁵God is within her. She will not be toppled.

God will help her at the morning dawn.

⁶The nations rage. The kingdoms are toppled.

Hᴇ lifted ʜɪꜱ voice and the earth melted.

⁷YHWH Almighty is with us.

The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

⁸Y’all come and see the works of YHWH,

the desolations ʜᴇ has brought on the earth.

⁹Hᴇ stops wars to the end of the earth.

Hᴇ breaks the bow and shatters the spear.

Hᴇ burns the chariots with the fire.

¹⁰“Y’all need to relax and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the nations.

I will be exalted in the earth.”

¹¹YHWH Almighty is with us.
