Psalms 83

Psalms 83

Keep not youri silence, O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] : hold not youri peace, and be not still, O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] .

For, lo, youri enemies make a tumult: and they that hate youi have lifted up the head.

They have taken crafty counsel against youri people, and consulted against youri hidden ones.

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from [being] a nation; that the name of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel of God] may be no more in remembrance.

For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against youi :

The tabernacles of Edom [Red] , and the Yishma’elim [God Will Hear] ; of Mo’av [Seed of my Father] , and the Hagri [Wanderers] ;

G’val [a boundary] , and Amon [Inbred] , and ‘Amalek [Dweller in the Valley] ; the P’lishtim [immigrants] with the inhabitants of Tzor [A Rock] (Tyre) ;

Ashur [a step] (Assyria) also is joined with them: they have given hope to the children of Lot [Covering] . Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said] .

Do unto them as [unto] the Midyanim [strife] ; as [to] Sisra [Battle Array (to put on; to clothe)] , as [to] Yavin [God has built] , at the brook of Kishon [Winding] :

[Which] perished at ‘Ein-Dor [Fountain of the Dwelling] : they became [as] dung for the earth.

Make their nobles like ‘Orev [Raven] , and like Ze’ev [Wolf] : yea, all their princes as Zevach [Deprived of Protection] , and as Tzalmuna [Deprived of Protection] :

Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] in possession.

O my God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] , make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

As the fire burns a wood, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire;

So persecute them with youri tempest, and make them afraid with youri storm.

Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek youri name, O Lord -Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] .

Let them be confounded and troubled forever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

That [men] may know that youi , whose name alone [is] YEHOVAH, [are] the most high over all the earth.
