¹and we have self turned, and have gone on to wilderness, on way of Yam Suf, so as Hashem has to me spoken; and we have self hung around/circled round Mount Se'ir many days.

²and Hashem has to me said, so to say:

³enough you (PL) go around the this mountain; turn you (PL) to north.

⁴and the people (you) command, so to say: you (PL) go through by the territory of your (PL) brothers, the children of Esav, which sit/dwell in Se'ir, and they will fear have before you (PL); shall you (PL) be very careful/on guard.

⁵you (PL) shall self not pick a quarrel with them, for not to even a span of a foot step will I you (PL) give of their land, for an inheritance to Esav have I given the Mount Se'ir.

⁶foodstuffs shall you (PL) from them for money purchase and eat, and even water shall you (PL) from them for money buy and to drink.

⁷for Hashem your G-d has you blessed in every action of your hand; he has known your going through the this great wilderness; already forty years is Hashem your G-d with you(SG); any thing has you(SG) not lacked.

⁸and we are went (our) way from our brothers, the children of Esav which sit/dwell in Se'ir, from the road of plain/Aravah, from Eilat, and from Etzyon-Gever.

and we have self turned and are went (our) way on the way of the wilderness of Moav.

⁹and Hashem has to me said: you(SG) must not oppose/harass Moav, and not launch with them a war, for I will you(SG) of his land not give any inheritance, for to the children of Lot have I given Ar an inheritance. –

¹⁰before/prior are there settled the Emim, a people great and many, and tall as the Anakim;

¹¹they also are considered having become for Rephaim, so as the Anakim, but the Moavim have them called Emim.

¹⁴and the days which we are having gone from Kadesh-Barnea until whence we are on the other side of the river/wadi Zered, are having been eight and thirty years; until the entire generation, the warriors, are destroyed having become from among the camp, so as Hashem has them sworn an oath.

¹⁵and also is the hand of Hashem having been on them, them destroying from among the camp, until they are destroyed having become.

¹⁶and it is having been, that all warriors are in entire died out from among the people,

¹⁷has Hashem spoken to me, so to say:

¹⁸you (sg) go today on the other side of the boundary of Moav, Ar,

¹⁹and you(sg) will come near against the children of Ammon, you(SG) must them not oppose/harass, and self with them not pick a quarrel, because I will you(SG) from the land of the children of Ammon not give any inheritance, because to the children of Lot have I it given an inheritance. –

²⁴stand up, advance away, and go on the other side of the the valley of Arnon. behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Emori, the king of Cheshbon, and his land; increase on to conquer, and launch with him a war.

²⁵this very day will I begin to throw your terror and your fear on the nations/peoples under all heaven, that when they will hear your report, will they tremble and quiver/be anxious before you(SG).

²⁶and I have sent messengers from wilderness Kedemot unto Sihon the king of Cheshbon – words of peace, so to say:

²⁷let me pass through by your land; on way/road, on road will I go; I will self not turn aside to the right or to the left.

²⁸foodstuff will you(sg) me for money sell, and I will eat, and water will you(sg) me for money give, and I will drink; let me only pass through on my feet (on foot);

²⁹so as it have with me done the children of Esav which sit/dwell in Se'ir, and the Moavim which sit in Ar; until whence I will go over the Yarden to the land which Hashem our G-d gives us.

³⁰but Sihon the king of Cheshbon has us not willing allow to pass by him, for Hashem your G-d has hard made his spirit, and obstinate made his heart, so that him to give into your hand, so as this very day.

³¹and Hashem has to me said: behold, I have begun to give over to you(SG) Sihon and his land; increase on to conquer so that to inherit his land.

³²is Sihon having come out against us, he with his entire people, on (make) war at Yahatz.

³³and Hashem our G-d has him delivered to us, and we have struck him, and his sons, and his entire people.

³⁴and we have in that time capture his cities, and laid waste every city, men and wives and small children; we have not left a remnant.

³⁵only the cattle have we pillaged/plundered for self, and the booty of the towns which we have subjugated.

³⁶of Aro'er which at shore/bank the valley of (wadi of) Arnon, and the town which in the valley of (wadi of), and unto Gil'ad, is not having been a town which is having been stronger than us; all has Hashem our G-d delivered to us.

³⁷only to the land of the children of Ammon have you (sg) not come near: to the entire shore/bank of river/wadi Yabbok, and the towns of hills, and everywhere where Hashem our G-d has forbidden.
