¹Give the king Your justice, O God,

and Your righteousness to the king’s son!

²May he judge Your people with righteousness[#Isa 9:7; 32:1]

and Your poor with justice.

³May the mountains bring peace to the people,[#Isa 52:7]

and the hills, in righteousness.

⁴May he vindicate the afflicted of the people,

save the children of the needy,

and crush the oppressor.

⁵May they fear You while the sun endures

and as long as the moon shines, throughout all generations.

⁶May he descend like rain upon the mown grass,

like showers that water the earth.

⁷In his days may the righteous flourish[#Ps 92:12; Isa 2:4]

and peace abound, until the moon is no more.

⁸May he have dominion from sea to sea,

and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.

⁹May those who dwell in the wilderness bow before him,

and his enemies lick the dust.

¹⁰May the kings of Tarshish and of the isles

bring gifts;

may the kings of Sheba and Seba

render tribute.

¹¹May all kings bow down before him,

all nations serve him.

¹²For he will deliver the needy when he cries,

the poor also, and him who has no helper.

¹³He will have compassion on the poor and needy,

and will save the lives of the needy.

¹⁴He will redeem their life from oppression and violence,

and precious shall be their blood in his sight.

¹⁵So may he live,

and may the gold of Sheba be given to him.

May prayer also be made for him continually,

and blessings invoked for him all day long.

¹⁶May there be an abundance of grain in the land;

may it wave on the tops of the mountains;

may its fruit be like Lebanon;

and may those from the city flourish like grass of the earth.

¹⁷May his name endure forever;[#Ps 89:36]

may his name continue as long as the sun shines.

And may men be blessed in him;

and may all nations call him blessed!

¹⁸Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel,[#Ps 41:13]

who alone does wondrous things.

¹⁹And blessed be His glorious name forever;[#Ne 9:5]

and may the whole earth be filled with His glory.
