Psalms 61

Psalms 61

Hear my cry, O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] ; attend unto my prayer.

From the end of the earth will I cry unto youi , when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock [that] is higher than I.

For youi have been a shelter for me, [and] a strong tower from the enemy.

I will abide in youri tabernacle forever: I will trust in the covert (a shelter; a hiding place) of youri wings. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said] .

For youi , O God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] , have heard my vows: youi have given [me] the heritage of those that fear youri name.

youi will prolong the king’s life: [and] his years as many generations.

He shall abide before God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] forever: O prepare mercy and truth, [which] may preserve him.

So will I sing praise unto youri name forever, that I may daily perform my vows.
