Songs of Praise

¹In that day you will say,

“I will give thanks to you, YHWH,

for though you were angry with me,

your anger has turned away and you comfort me.

²Indeed, God is my salvation.

I will trust, and will not be afraid.

For Y’H, YHWH, is my strength and song,

and ʜᴇ has become my salvation.”

³Y’all will draw water joyfully

from the wells of salvation.

⁴In that day y’all will say,

“Y’all praise to YHWH! Y’all call on ʜɪꜱ name!

Y’all declare ʜɪꜱ deeds among the peoples!

Y’all proclaim that his ʜɪꜱ is exalted!

⁵Y’all sing to YHWH,

for ʜᴇ has done excellent things!

Let this be known in all the earth!

⁶Cry and shout, you inhabitant of Zion,

for the Holy One of Israel is great among you!”
