¹YHWH, how my adversaries increase!

Many who rise up against me.

²Many are saying of my soul,

“There is no deliverance for him in God.” Selah.

³But you, YHWH, are a shield around me,

my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.

⁴I cry out to YHWH with my voice,

and ʜᴇ answers me from ʜɪꜱ holy mountain. Selah.

⁵I lie down and sleep.

I awaken because YHWH sustains me.

⁶I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people

who have surround me on every side.

⁷Rise up, YHWH!

Save me, my God!

For you have struck all of my enemies on the jaw.

You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

⁸Salvation belongs to YHWH.
