¹The Lord reigns; He is clothed with majesty;[#Ps 97:1]

the Lord is clothed; He has girded Himself with strength.

Indeed, the world is established;

it shall not be moved.

²Your throne is established from of old;[#Ps 45:6]

You are from everlasting.

³The floods have lifted up, O Lord ,

the floods have lifted up their voice;

the floods lift up their roaring waves.

⁴The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters,

than the mighty waves of the sea.

⁵Your statutes are very sure;

holiness befits Your house,

O Lord , forever.
