¹The word which came unto Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] from the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) in the days of Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] the son of Yoshiyahu [whom Yehovah heals] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] , saying,

²Go unto the house of the Rekhavim [uttermost part] , and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) , into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

³Then I took Ya’azanyahu [Yehovah hears] the son of Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] , the son of Havatzinyah [light of Yehovah] , and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rekhavim [uttermost part] ;

⁴And I brought them into the house of the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) , into the chamber of the sons of Hanan [he is merciful] , the son of Yigdalyahu [Yehovah is great] , a man of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] , which [was] by the chamber of the princes, which [was] above the chamber of Ma’aseiyah [work of Yehovah] the son of Shalum [retribution] , the keeper of the door:

⁵And I set before the sons of the house of the Rekhavim [uttermost part] pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink you2f wine.

⁶But they said, We will drink no wine: for Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] the son of Rekhav [rider] our father commanded us, saying, You2f shall drink no wine, [neither you2f ], nor your sons forever:

⁷Neither shall you2f build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have [any] : but all your days you2f shall dwell in tents; that you2f may live many days in the land where you2f [be] strangers.

⁸Thus have we obeyed the voice of Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] the son of Rekhav [rider] our father in all that he has charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;

⁹Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:

¹⁰But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] our father commanded us.

¹¹But it came to pass, when N’vukhadretzar [may Nebo protect the crown] king of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion] came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] for fear of the army of the Kasdim [clod-breakers] , and for fear of the army of the Aram [Syrians] : so we dwell at Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] .

¹²Then came the word of the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) unto Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] , saying,

¹³Thus says the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] , the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] ; Go and tell the men of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] , Will you2f not receive instruction to hearken to my words? says the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) .

¹⁴The words of Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] the son of Rekhav [rider] , that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but you2f listened not unto me.

¹⁵I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending [them] , saying, Return you2f now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and you2f shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but you2f have not inclined your ear, nor listened unto me.

¹⁶Because the sons of Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] the son of Rekhav [rider] have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people has not listened unto me:

¹⁷Therefore thus says the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] , the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] ; Behold, I will bring upon Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and upon all the inhabitants of Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

¹⁸And Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] said unto the house of the Rekhavim [uttermost part] , Thus says the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] , the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] ; Because you2f have obeyed the commandment of Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he has commanded you:

¹⁹Therefore thus says the Lord -Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] , the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] ; Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] the son of Rekhav [rider] shall not lack a man to stand before me forever.
