¹and Hashem has spoken to Moshe and to Aaron, so to say:

²each by his standard/banner, according to the ensigns/insignia of their father's household, shall encamp the children of Yisroel; (at a) distance around round the Tent of Meeting shall they encamp.

³and the that which encamp in east to sunrise shall be: the standard/banner of the camp of Yehudah according their legions, with the chieftain of the children of Yehudah, Nachshon the son of Aminadav,

⁴and his host/legion – their numbered, four and seventy a thousand and six hundred.

⁵and the that which encamp near him: tribe Yissakhar, with the chieftain of the children of Yissakhar, Netanel the son of Tzuar,

⁶and his host/legion – his numbered, four and fifty a thousand and four hundred;

⁷tribe Zevulun, with the chieftain of the children of Zevulun, Eliav the son of Chelon,

⁸and his host/legion – his numbered, seven and fifty a thousand and four hundred.

⁹all numbered from the camp of Yehudah: hundred and eighty a thousand and six a thousand and four hundred, according their legions. they shall to set out/journey first.

¹⁰the standard/banner of the camp of Reuven shall be to south, according to their legions, with the chieftain of the children of Reuven, Elitzur the son of Shede'ur,

¹¹and his host/legion – his numbered, six and forty a thousand and five hundred.

¹²and the that which encamp near him: tribe Shim'on, with the chieftain of the children of Shim'on, Shelumiel the son of Tzurishaddai,

¹³and his host/legion – their numbered, nine and fifty thousand and three hundred;

¹⁴and tribe Gad, with the chieftain of the children of Gad, Elyasaph the son of Reuel,

¹⁵and his host/legion – their numbered, five and forty a thousand and six hundred and fifty.

¹⁶all numbered of the camp of Reuven, hundred a thousand and one and fifty a thousand and four hundred and fifty, according to their legions. and they shall to set out/journey the second.

¹⁷and the Tent of Meeting, the camp of the Levites, shall to set out/journey in midst of of the camp; so as they rest, so shall they to set out/journey; each on his place according their standards/banners.

¹⁸the standard/banner of the camp of Ephrayim according to their legions shall be to west, with the chieftain of the children of Ephrayim, Elishama the son of Ammihud,

¹⁹and his host/legion – their numbered, forty thousand and five hundred.

²⁰and near him tribe Menasheh, with the chieftain of the children of Menasheh, Gamli'el the son of Pedahtzur,

²¹and his host/legion – their numbered, two and thirty thousand and two hundred;

²²and tribe Binyamin, with the chieftain of the children of Binyamin, Avidan the son of Gideoni,

²³and his host/legion – their numbered, five and thirty a thousand and four hundred.

²⁴all numbered of the camp of Ephrayim, hundred thousand and eight thousand and hundred, according their legions. and they shall to set out/journey the third.

²⁵the standard/banner of the camp of Dan shall be to north, according their legions, with the chieftain of the children of Dan, Achi'ezer the son of Ammishaddai,

²⁶and his host/legion – their numbered, two and sixty thousand and seven hundred.

²⁷and the which encamp near him: tribe Asher, with the chieftain of the children of Asher, Pagiel the son of Okhran,

²⁸and his host/legion – their numbered, one and forty thousand and five hundred;

²⁹and tribe Naphtali, with the chieftain of the children of Naphtali, Achira the son of Enan,

³⁰and his host/legion – their numbered, three and fifty thousand and four hundred.

³¹all numbered of the camp of Dan, hundred thousand and seven and fifty thousand and six hundred. they shall to set out/journey last according to their standards/banners.

³²these are the numbered of the children of Yisroel, according to their father's household; all numbered of the camps, according their legions, are having been six time hundred a thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

³³but the Levites are not counted having become among the children of Yisroel; so as Hashem has commanded Moshe.

³⁴and the children of Yisroel have done so as all that which Hashem has commanded Moshe; thus have them rested according to their standards/banners, and so have they moved out, each according his families, by his father's household.
