Revelation 15

Revelation 15

Seven Angels With Seven Plagues

1I saw another great and amazing sign in heaven. Seven angels were about to bring the seven last plagues that would complete God’s anger.

2Then I saw something that looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire. Those who had won the battle over the beast were standing next to the sea. They had also overcome the beast’s statue and the number of its name. They held harps that God had given them,

3and they sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb. They sang,

“Lord God Almighty,

everything you do is great and amazing.

King of the nations,

your ways are true and fair.

4Lord, who won’t show you respect

and bring glory to your name?

You alone are holy.

All nations will come

and worship you,

because they’ll see that the things you do are right.”

5After this I looked and saw that the temple in heaven was open. The temple is the holy tent where the tablets of the covenant law were kept.

6The seven angels who were bringing the seven plagues came out of the temple. They were dressed in clean, shining linen, and they had gold strips of cloth around their chests.

7Then one of the four living creatures gave seven golden bowls to the seven angels. The bowls were filled with the anger of God, who lives for ever and ever.

8The temple was filled with smoke that came from the glory and power of God, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
