and I, brothers, coming to you (PL), did not come with high rhetoric or wisdom, you (PL) to proclaim the testimony of Hashem.
because I have myself resolved nothing to know among you (PL), except Yehoshua the Moshiach, and him as hung up on the tree.
and was with you (PL) in weakness and in fear and in great trembling.
and this word my and my preaching have not been with persuasive words of wisdom, but with proof of Spirit and power,
so that your faith shall not be in human wisdom, but in the power of Hashem.
wisdom however speak we among the perfection, yet not the wisdom of world the this, also not of the rulers of the this one world, who become lost;
but we speak the wisdom of Hashem in a mystery, the concealed (wisdom), which Hashem has from long ago predetermined for our glory sake;
which anyone of the rulers of the this one world has it not known; because would they it yes known, would they not hung up on the tree the L-rd of glory;
but as it stands written:
what eye has not seen,
and ear has not heard,
and it is not come on a man's heart,
this has Hashem prepared for the (ones), which have him love.
to us however did Hashem it revealed through His Spirit; because the Spirit searches everything out, even the depths of Hashem.
because who among men knows what (is happening) in a man, if not the man's spirit in him? also so knows anyone not who it is in Hashem, except Hashem's Spirit.
and we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit, which is from Hashem; so that we shall know, what it is us given become of Hashem.
about this speak we also with words, which not human wisdom teaches, but which the Spirit the Holy teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual (words).
the natural man however receives not on that (which comes) from Hashem's Spirit; because it is a foolishness for him; and he can it (at all) not understand because it must judged become in a spiritual way.
the spiritual (man)—(man of the Spirit)—however judges everything, and is himself by anyone not judged.
because who did know the Spirit of the L-rd (G-d), that he shall Him (something) teach? we however have the Spirit of the Moshiach. (Yeshayah 40, 13)
