chapter eight and twenty

¹and after the as we are saved become, did we ourselves then find out, that the island is called Malta.

²and the barbarians did us show an extraordinary humaneness; because they did kindle a bonfire and us everyone welcomed on account of the rain, which did set in in one to fall and on account of the chill.

³and Paul did gather together a bundle kindling and it did place on the bonfire, and a viper did come out, because of the heat, and has itself hung on his hand.

⁴and when the barbarians did see the creature dangling on his hand, did they say one to the other: the this man is surely a murderer, who, although he has escaped from the sea, allows him yet the justice not to live.

⁵he however did shaking off the creature in fire into, and it has him nothing harmed.

⁶and they have expected, that he will swell up become or suddenly fall down dead; when however they have long waiting, and saw, that it occurs him not any in no way harm, did they change their mind, and said, that he is a g-t.

and with the ears hear,

²⁸therefore be know, that the this salvation of Hashem is being sent to the nations of the world; and they will (it) hear.
