chapter one and twenty

¹and I did see a new heaven and a new earth; because the first heaven and the first earth are passed; and the sea is more not. (Yeshayah 65, 17.)

²and the holy city Jerusalem did I see descend out of out the heaven from Hashem, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

³and did hear a loud voice from the throne of glory, so to say: look, the Mishkan of Hashem is with the people, and he will dwell among them, and they will be his nations, and Hashem Himself will be with them,

⁴and will wipe every tear from their eyes; and the death will already more not exist; it will more not be any sorrow, any shout, any pain; because the first things are passed.

⁵and the One, who sits on the throne of glory, has said: look, I make all new! yet has He said: write! because the these words are faithful and true/authentic!

⁶and has to me said: it is done. I am the alef and the tav, the beginning and the end. I will give the thirsty out the source of water of life freely.

⁷who it is overcome, this one will inherit the these things; and I will be to him for a G-d, and he will be to me a son.

⁸the cowardly however and unbelievers and abominable and murderers and fornicators and sorcerers and idolater and all liars, their share will be in the river/lake, who burns with fire and sulfur; the is the second death!

⁹and it is come one of the seven angels, which did have the seven vessels, which are was filled with the seven last plagues, and did speak with me, so to say: come, I will you (SG) to show the bride, the Lamb's wife.

¹⁰and did me lead away in the Spirit on a great and high mountain, and me showed the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out the heaven from Hashem,

¹¹having Hashem's glory; its light is was like to the precious stone, as a jasper stone, pure crystal;

¹²having a great and high wall, with twelve gates, and on the gates twelve angels; and names are was inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children Israel;

¹³from east side three gates, and from north side three gates, and from south side three gates, and from west side three gates.

¹⁴and the wall of the city has twelve foundations, and on them are the twelve names of the twelve Shlichim of the Lamb.

¹⁵and those, who did with me speak, did have a scale, a golden rod, so as to measure the city and her gates and her wall.

¹⁶and the city lies foursquare, and her length is as much as her breadth; and he did measure the city with the rod, twelve thousand stadia (1500 miles); her length and breadth and height are equal.

¹⁷and had measured her wall, hundred and four and forty cubits (216 feet), like the measure of of a man, that means of an angel.

¹⁸and the building of her wall is jasper; and the city is of pure gold, similar to pure glass.

¹⁹the foundations of the wall of the city are adorned with all kinds of precious stones. the first foundation, a jasper; the second, a sapphire; the third, an agate; the fourth, an emerald;

²⁰the fifth, a sardonyx; the sixth, a ruby; the seventh, a chrysolite; the eighth, a beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprase; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

²¹and the twelve gates are twelve pearls, entire one gate was of one pearl; and the street of the city pure gold, as transparent glass.

²²and any Heikhal have I in it not seen; because the L-rd G-d, KVICHOL, and the Lamb are its Heikhal.

²³and the city need not have the sun, nor the moon, it to light up; because the glory of Hashem did shine over her, and the Lamb is her light. (Yeshayah 60, 19.)

²⁴and the nations will walk in her light; and the kings of the earth bring their glory to her.

²⁵and its gates will not shut be by day; because it will there not be any night;

²⁶and they will bring to her the glory and the beauty of the nations;

²⁷and it will never way in her not go in any in no way unclean thing, and who it does abomination and lies; but the (ones), who are written in in the Lamb's book of life.
