and Yithro the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, has heard all that which G-d has done toward Moshe, and toward his people Israel, how Hashem has brought out Israel from Egypt.
has Yithro, Moses' father-in-law, taken Zipporah, Moses' wife, after the when he has her had sent away,
and her two sons, whose the name of one is having been Gershom, because he has said: I am a foreigner in a foreign land,
and the name of other is having been Eliezer, because: the G-d of my father is me having been to help, and he has me rescued having been from Pharaoh's sword.
and Yithro, Moses' father-in-law, is having come with his sons and his wife to Moshe in the wilderness where he has there rested, at mountain of G-d.
and he has left to say to Moshe: I your father-in-law Yithro come to you(SG), and your wife, and her two sons with her.
is Moshe having come out to meet his father-in-law, and he has self bowed, and has him kissed, and they have one the other asked about peace/welfare, and they have entered into tent.
and Moshe has told his father-in-law all that which Hashem has done to Pharaoh and to Egypt of concerning Israel, all the hardship which they have encountered on way, and how Hashem has them rescued having done.

and Yithro has said: blessed be Hashem who has you (PL) rescued having done from the hand of Egypt, and from the hand of Pharaoh; which he has rescued having done this people from under the hand of Egypt.
now know I, that Hashem is greater than all g-ds, because for the reason that they have have had the nerve is this having come on them.
and Yithro, Moses' father-in-law, has brought an olah/burnt offering and slaughter sacrifice/zavach to G-d; and Aaron and all elders of Israel are having come to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before G-d.
and it is having been on next day, has self Moshe sat to judge the people, and the people have stood in front of Moshe from the morning until evening.
has Moses' father-in-law witnessed all that which he does with the people, and he has said: what is the this thing which you (sg) you are doing with the people? for why stay you (sg) alone, and this whole people stand before you(SG) from morning until evening?
has Moshe said to his father-in-law: because this people come to me to ask/inquire to G-d;
when they have a matter, come they before me, and I judge between a man and between his fellow, and make to know the laws of G-d and his torah/learning.
has Moses' father-in-law to him said: not good is the thing which you (sg) you are doing.
weary will you(sg) weary become, both you (sg), and the this people which are with you(SG), because the thing is too heavy for you(SG); you can it not do alone.
now pay heed to my voice; I will to you(SG) a counsel give, and G-d will be with you(SG): be you (sg) the people before G-d, and you (sg) you(SG) must bring the things to G-d.
and you(SG) must to them clear make the laws and the torah/learning, and them make to know the way which they shall in it go, and the action which they shall do.
and you (sg) you(SG) must see from all people competent men, who fear G-d, true men, who have hated gain, and you(SG) must them make over them for the leaders of a thousand, the leaders of hundred, the leaders of fifty, and the leaders of ten.
and they shall judge this people to every time; and it will be, every great thing will they bring to you(SG), and every small thing will they themselves judge, and they will to you(SG) lighten/alleviate, and carry together with you(SG).
if you (sg) will do the this thing, and G-d will to you(SG) thus command, will you(sg) be able to endure, and also this this whole people will go home in peace.
has Moshe paid heed to the voice of his father-in-law, and he has done all that which he has said.
and Moshe has chosen competent men from all Israel, and has them made for leaders over the people, for leaders of a thousand, leaders of hundred, leaders of fifty, and leaders of ten.
and they have judged this people in every time; a difficult matter have they brought to Moshe, and every small thing have they themselves judged.
