1and to Moshe has he said: go up to Hashem, you (sg), and Aaron, Nadav, and Avihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and you (PL) must self bow down from the distance.
2and Moshe alone shall come near to Hashem; but they shall not come near. and the people must not go up with him.
3is Moshe having come, and has told the people all words of Hashem, and all laws; and this whole people has answered with one voice, and said: all words which Hashem has spoken will we do.
4and Moshe has written down all words of Hashem, and he has self risen early in the morning, and has built an altar under mount, and twelve sacred pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.
5and he has sent the young people of the children of Israel, and they have brought up olah/burnt offering and sacrificed oxen/bulls peace offerings to Hashem.
6and Moshe has taken half of the blood, and put into basins, and half of the blood has he splashed on the altar.
7and he has taken this book of covenant, and read in the ears of the people; and they have said: all that which Hashem has spoken will we do and obey.
8and Moshe has taken the blood, and has thrown on people, and has said: behold is this blood of the covenant which Hashem has made with you (PL) on the basis of all the these words.
9and Moshe, and Aaron, Nadav, and Avihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, are having gone up;
10and they have seen the the G-d of Israel; and under his feet is having been just like a pavement of sapphire, and just like the heaven/sky alone in purity.
11and on the leading people of the children of Israel has he not stretched out his hand; and they have seen G-d, and have eaten and drank.
12and Hashem has said to Moshe: come up to me on mount, and be there, and I will you(SG) give the stone tablets with the instruction and the commandments which I have written them to teach.
13has got up Moshe, with his servant/assistant Yehoshua/Yeshua, and Moshe is having gone up on mount of G-d.
14and to the elders has he said: wait here for us, until whence I will self return to you (PL). and behold are Aaron and Hur with you (PL); whoever they have a case for judgement shall approach to them.
15and Moshe is having gone up on mount, and the cloud has covered the mount.
16and the glory of Hashem has rested on mount Sinai, and the cloud has him covered six days; and on seventh day has he called to Moshe from the cloud.
17and the appearance of Hashem's glory is having been just like a flaming fire on the top of mount, in front of the eyes of the children of Israel.
18and Moshe has gone in into midst of cloud, and has gone up on mount; and Moshe was having been on mount forty days and forty nights.
