1and Hashem has spoken to Moshe and to Aaron, them so to say:

2speak to the children of Yisroel, so to say: these are the living things which you (PL) may eat from all beasts which on the earth.

3everything which is cloven/divided with hoof, and the hooves are with it split (in two), which is chew the cud among beasts, it may you (PL) to eat.

4but the these are allowed you (PL) not to eat of the which are chew the cud, and of the which are cloven/divided with hoof: the camel, because chew the cud is he, but with hoof is he not cloven/divided; he is unclean for you (PL).

5and the rock badger, because chew the cud is he, but with hoof is he not cloven/divided; he is unclean for you (PL).

6and the hare, because chew the cud is he, but with hoof is he not cloven/divided; he is unclean for you (PL).

7and the pig, because cloven/divided with hoof is he, and the hoof are by him divided, but he is not chew the cud; he is unclean for you (PL).

8of their flesh are allowed you (PL) not to eat, and on their carcass are allowed you (PL) self not to touch; unclean are they for you (PL).

9the this may you (PL) to eat of all that which in water: all that which has fins and scale in water, in the seas and in the rivers, they may you (PL) to eat.

10and all that which has not fins and scale, in the seas and in the rivers, of all swarming of water, and of all living creatures which in water, they are an abomination for you (PL).

11and an abomination shall they you (PL) be; of their flesh shall you (PL) not eat, and their carcass shall you (PL) detest (as abomination).

12all that which has not any fins and scales in water, this is an abomination for you (PL).

13and the these shall you (PL) detest of birds; they be allowed to not eaten become; an abomination are they: the eagle, and the vulture, and the black eagle;

14and the kite, and the hawk according its kind;

15every raven; according its kind;

16and the ostrich, and the screech owl, and the seagull, and the sparrow hawk according its kind;

17and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl;

18and the white owl, and the pelican, and the osprey;

19and the stork, the sparrow according his kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.

20and all winged insects which go on four (legs), it is an abomination for you (PL).

21but these may you (PL) eat of all winged swarming which go on four: this which has joint over its feet, to jump on with them on the earth.

22the these of them may you (PL) eat: the locust according its kind, and the katydid according its kind, and the cricket according its kind, and the grasshopper according its kind.

23but every other winged insects which has four feet, it is an abomination for you (PL).

24and of the these will you (PL) become unclean; each which touches self on on their carcass, shall be unclean until evening.

25and each which carry/picks up anything of their carcass, shall wash his garments, and be unclean until evening.

26each beast which is cloven/divided with hoof, but split through are they not split through by you (PL), or it is not chew the cud, they are unclean for you (PL); each which touches self on them on, shall become unclean.

27and all which go on their paws, among all wild animals which go on four, they are unclean for you (PL); each which touches self on on their carcass, shall be unclean until evening.

28and the which carries their carcass, shall wash his garments, and be unclean until evening; unclean are they for you (PL).

29and this is what is unclean for you (PL) among the creeping things which creep on the earth; this weasel, and the mouse, and the lizard according her kind;

30and the fat mouse/rat, and the land crocodile, and the scorpion, and the lizard, and the chameleon.

31these are the which are unclean for you (PL) among all creeping things; each which touches self on them on when they are dead, shall be unclean until evening.

32and all that which anything of them will fall thereon when they are dead, shall become unclean, whether any it is wooden vessel, or a garment, or a hide, or a sackcloth, every vessel which in this way shall be done work, shall put become in water, and be unclean until evening, and become tahor/clean.

33and every earthenware vessel which in it will fall anything of them, shall all that which in you (PL) become unclean, and it shall you (PL) break.

34every food in it which shall be eaten, which on it is having come water, shall become unclean; and every drink which shall be drunk in all such vessels, shall become unclean.

35and all that which anything of their carcass will fall thereon, shall become unclean; whether a bake-oven or a cook-oven, shall it broken become; unclean are they, and unclean shall they you (PL) be.

36but a spring or a cistern where water is gathered, shall remain tahor/clean; but the which touches self on on their carcass, shall become unclean.

37and if from their corpse will fall on any manner of it is seed of seed sowing which shall be planted, is it tahor/clean.

38if but on seed is placed on having become water, and any of their corpse will fall on it, is it unclean for you (PL).

39and that one of the beasts which are for you (PL) to to eat will fall away/die, shall the which touches self on on its carcass, be unclean until evening.

40and the one which eats of its carcass, shall wash his garments, and be unclean until evening; and the one which carries its carcass, shall wash his garments, and be unclean until evening.

41and every creeper/crawler which creeps on the earth, is an abomination; it shall not eaten become.

42all that which go on belly, and all that which go on four (legs), and all that which is many legs, all creeping things which creep on the earth, them shall you (PL) not eat, for an abomination are they.

43you (PL) shall not detest (as abomination) your soul with any creeper which creeps, and you (PL) shall self not defile/contaminate with them, and become unclean by them.

44for I am Hashem your G-d, and you (PL) shall self consecrate/sanctify and be holy, for I am holy; and you (PL) shall not defile/contaminate your soul with any creeper which swarms/teems self on the earth.

45because I am Hashem who has you (PL) brought up from the land Egypt, so as to be your G-d; therefore shall you (PL) be holy, because I am holy.

46this is the law of beast, and birds, and every living creature which swarms/teems self in water, and concerning every creature which creeps/crawls on the earth,

47so that distinguish between unclean and pure, and between the living thing which may eaten become, and the living thing which it is required not eaten become.
