¹and Hashem has spoken to Moshe, thus to say:

²be self avenge the vengeance of the children of Yisroel on the Midyanim; after that will you(sg) gathered become to your people.

³has Moshe spoken to people, so to say: arm of you (PL) men to host/legion, and shall they go on Midyan execute the vengeance of Hashem on Midyan.

⁴to a thousand of a tribe, to a thousand of a tribe, from all tribes of Yisroel, shall you (PL) send in host/legion.

⁵are supplied having become from the thousands of Yisroel to a thousand of a tribe, twelve a thousand armed host/legion.

⁶and Moshe has them sent in host/legion to a thousand of a tribe, them with Pinchas the son of El'azar the kohen, in host/legion, with the holy vessels and the trumpet sound in his hand.

⁷and they have war waged on Midyan, so as Hashem has commanded Moshe, and they have killed every male.

⁸also the kings of Midyan have they killed among their slain: Evi, and Rekem, and Tzur, and Chur, and Reva, the five kings of Midyan; also Balaam the son of Be'or have they killed with sword.

⁹and the children of Yisroel have captured the wives of Midyan, and their small children; and all their beasts, and all their livestock, and their all possessions, have they took away plundered.

¹⁰and all their towns in their dwellings, and all their encampments, have they burned up in fire.

¹¹and they have taken the all booty, and the entire spoil, of men and of beasts,

¹²and have brought the captives and the spoil and the booty to Moshe and to El'azar the kohen, and to the assembly of the children of Yisroel, in camp, on the plains of Moav which at Yarden near Yericho.

¹³are Moshe, and El'azar the kohen, and all chieftains of the assembly, having come out them to meet outside camp.

¹⁴and Moshe has been angry on the officers of the army over host/legion, the elders of a thousand, and the elders of hundred, which are having come from war service.

¹⁵and Moshe has to them said: have you (PL) allowed alive all females?

¹⁶these have they yet, on the incitement of Balaam, brought the children of Yisroel to commit a treachery on Hashem, in the matter of Pe'or, and the plague is having been on the assembly of Hashem.

¹⁷and now kill every male among the small children, and kill every woman/female which knows of a man by lying with a male.

¹⁸and all children among the females which know not of lying with a male, shall you (PL) let live for you (PL).

¹⁹and you (PL), camp outside camp seven days; each which has killed a a soul, and each which has self touched on a slain one, being cleansed you (PL) on third day and on seventh day, you (PL) and your (PL) prisoners.

²⁰and every garment, and every thing of hide/leather, and all that which is made of goat's hair, and every wooden vessel, shall you (PL) you (PL) cleanse.

²¹and El'azar the kohen has said to the legion people/army which are having gone in battle: this is the law of the instruction which Hashem has commanded Moshe:

²²but this gold, and this silver, this bronze/copper, this iron, this tin, and this lead,

²³all that which can come (withstand) in fire, shall you (PL) make pass through by fire, and it will become tahor/clean; but it must purified become with water of sprinkling. and all that which can not come in fire, shall you (PL) make pass through by water.

²⁴and you (PL) shall wash your (PL) garments on seventh day, and you (PL) will become tahor/clean, and after that may you (PL) come into in camp.

²⁵and Hashem has said to Moshe, so to say:

²⁶take on the number (inventory) of the the prisoner spoil, of men and of beasts, you (sg) and El'azar the kohen, and the chief people/heads of the father's household of the assembly.

²⁷and you(SG) must divide/separate the spoil in half, among the war wagers which are having come out in host/legion, and among the whole assembly.

²⁸and you(SG) must set apart a tribute to Hashem of the war people which are having come out in host/legion; one item of five hundred, of the men, and of the cattle, and of the donkeys, and of the sheep.

²⁹of their half shall you (PL) it take; and you(SG) shall it give to El'azar the kohen, an separation of a portion/contribution to Hashem.

³⁰and of the half of the children of Yisroel shall you (sg) take one taken out from fifty, of the men, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the sheep – of all beasts; and you(SG) shall them give to the Levi'im, which keep the charge/guard duty of the Tabernacle of Hashem.

³¹and Moshe and El'azar the kohen have done so as Hashem has commanded Moshe.

³²and the spoil which is remain after the plunder which this army people has pillaged/plundered, is having been: sheep, six hundred a thousand and seventy a thousand and five a thousand;

³³and cattle, two and seventy a thousand;

³⁴and donkeys, one and sixty a thousand;

³⁵and persons of men, of females which have not known of lying with a male – all persons, two and thirty a thousand.

³⁶and a half, the portion of the which are having gone forth in host/legion – the number of of the sheep, is having been three hundred a thousand and thirty a thousand and seven a thousand and five hundred.

³⁷and the tribute to Hashem of the sheep is having been six hundred and five and seventy.

³⁸and the cattle, six and thirty a thousand, and the tribute of them to Hashem, two and seventy.

³⁹and donkeys, thirty a thousand and five hundred; and the tribute of them to Hashem, one and sixty.

⁴⁰and persons of men, sixteen a thousand; and the tribute of them to Hashem, two and thirty persons.

⁴¹and Moshe has delivered the tribute of G-d's separation of a portion/contribution to El'azar the kohen, so as Hashem has Moshe commanded.

⁴²and of the half of the children of Yisroel, which Moshe has removed/separated with the men which are having been in host/legion –

⁴³and the half of the assembly is having been: of the sheep, three hundred a thousand and thirty a thousand and seven a thousand and five hundred;

⁴⁴and cattle, six and thirty a thousand;

⁴⁵and donkeys, thirty a thousand and five hundred;

⁴⁶and persons of men, sixteen a thousand –

⁴⁷of the half of the children of Yisroel has Moshe taken one taken of fifty, of the men, and of the beasts, and he has them given to the Levi'im, which to keep a watch over the charge/guard duty of the Tabernacle of Hashem, so as Hashem has Moshe commanded.

⁴⁸and the officers of the army which over the thousands of host/legion, the elders of a thousand, and the elders of hundred, have come near to Moshe;

⁴⁹and they have said to Moshe: your servants have accepted the number of of the war people which under our hand, and no one of us is not diminished/missing having become.

⁵⁰have me brought a korban to Hashem, each which he has found, golden things, armlets, and bracelets, rings, earings, and necklaces, expiate/make atonement to be on our soul before Hashem.

⁵¹have Moshe and El'azar the kohen taken of them this gold, all kinds of production things (jewels).

⁵²and this whole gold of the separation of a portion/contribution which they have separated to Hashem, is having been sixteen a thousand seven hundred and fifty shekel, of the elders of a thousand, and of the elders of hundred. –

⁵³the legion people/army have pillaged/plundered each (man) for self. –

⁵⁴and Moshe and El'azar the kohen have taken this gold from the elders of a thousand and from hundred, and have it brought in Tent of Meeting, a memorial portion on the children of Yisroel for Hashem.
