1and the chief people/heads of the father's household of the family of the children of Gil'ad, the son of Machir, the son of Menasheh, of the families of the children of Yosef, have come near, and have spoken before Moshe, and before the chieftains, the chief people/heads of the father's household of the children of Yisroel,

2and they have said: Hashem has commanded my master to give this land in inheritance according lot to the children of Yisroel, and my master is commanded having become of Hashem to give the inheritance of our brother Tzelophechad to his daughters.

3and that they will become for wives to one of the sons of the tribes of the children of Yisroel, will their inheritance diminished become from the inheritance of our father's, and will added become to the inheritance of the tribe which they will to him belong; so will diminished become of the lot of our inheritance.

4even that Yovel/Jubilee will be by the children of Yisroel, will their inheritance remain added to the inheritance of the tribe which they will to it belong, and their inheritance will diminished become from the inheritance of our father's.

5has Moshe commanded the children of Yisroel according the mouth of Hashem, so to say: righteous argue the tribe of the children of Yosef.

6this is the thing which Hashem has commanded concerning the daughters of Tzelophechad, so to say: they may become for wives to the one which will find favor in the eyes of in their eyes, but in the family of the tribe of their father shall they become for wives.

7so that a inheritance of the children of Yisroel shall not pass over/transfer from tribe to tribe; but the children of Yisroel shall be joined/attached each on the inheritance of the tribe of his father's.

8and every daughter of the tribes of the children of Yisroel, which inherit a inheritance, must become for a wife to one of the family of her father's tribe; so that the children of Yisroel shall inherit each the inheritance of his father's.

9and an inheritance shall not pass over/transfer from one tribe to an other tribe; but the tribes of the children of Yisroel shall be joined/attached each on his inheritance.

10so as Hashem has commanded Moshe, so have the daughters of Tzelophechad done.

11and Machlah, Tirtzah, and Choglah, and Milcah, and No'ah, the daughters of Tzelophechad, are having become for wives to the sons of their uncle's.

12in the families of the children of Menasheh the son of Yosef are they having become for wives, and their inheritance is remain in the tribe of their father's family.

13this are the commandments and the laws which Hashem has ordered the children of Yisroel by Moshe in the plains of Moav at Yarden near Yericho.
