Consider the Way of the Blameless

¹I will sing of lovingkindness and justice,[#101:1 Or judgment]

To You, O Yahweh, I will sing praises.

²I will consider the way of the blameless.[#101:2 Or behave prudently in]

When will You come to me?

I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

³I will set no vile thing before my eyes;

I hate the work of those who fall away;

It shall not cling to me.

⁴A crooked heart shall depart from me;

I will know no evil.

⁵Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy;[#101:5 Or silence]

Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart, I will not endure.

⁶¶My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may abide with me;

He who walks in the way of the blameless is the one who will minister to me.

⁷He who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house;

He who speaks lies shall not be established before my eyes.

⁸Every morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land,[#101:8 Or silence]

To cut off from the city of Yahweh all the workers of iniquity.
