¹Praise the Lord !

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart,

in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

²Great are the works of the Lord ,[#Ps 104:24; 143:5]

studied by all who have pleasure in them.

³Honorable and majestic is His work,

and His righteousness endures forever.

⁴He has made His wonderful works to be remembered;

the Lord is gracious and compassionate.

⁵He has given food to those who fear Him;

He will ever be mindful of His covenant.

⁶He has shown His people the power of His works,

in giving them the inheritance of the nations.

⁷The works of His hands are truth and justice;

all His precepts are trustworthy.

⁸They stand forever and ever,[#Ps 19:9; Mt 5:18]

and are performed in truth and uprightness.

⁹He has sent redemption to His people;

He has commanded His covenant forever;

holy and awesome is His name.

¹⁰The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;[#Pr 1:7; 9:10]

a good understanding have all those who do His commands.

His praise endures forever!
