Job 11

Job 11

Then answered Tzofar [sparrow] the Na’amti [pleasantness] , and said,

Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?

Should youi lies make men hold their peace? and when youi mock, shall no man make youi ashamed?

For youi have said, My doctrine [is] pure, and I am clean in youi eyes.

But oh that God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] would speak, and open his lips against youi ;

And that he would show youi the secrets of wisdom, that [they are] double to that which is! Know therefore that God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] exacts of youi [less] than youri iniquity [deserves] .

Can youi by searching find out God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] ? can youi find out the Almighty’s limits?

[It is] as high as heaven; what can youi do? deeper than hell; what can youi know?

The measure thereof [is] longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?

For he knows vain men: he sees wickedness also; will he not then consider [it] ?

For vain man would be wise, though man be born [like] a wild ass’s colt.

If youi prepare youi heart, and stretch out youi hands toward him;

If iniquity [be] in youi hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in youi tabernacles.

For then shall youi lift up youi face without spot; yes, youi shall be steadfast, and shall not fear:

Because youi shall forget [you ] misery, [and] remember [it] as waters [that] pass away:

And [you ] age shall be clearer than the noonday; youi shall shine forth, youi shall be as the morning.

And youi shall be secure, because there is hope; yes, youi shall dig [about youi , and] youi shall take youi rest in safety.

Also youi shall lie down, and none shall make [you ] afraid; yes, many shall make suit unto youi .

But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope [shall be as] the giving up of the ghost.
