Timothy letter 5

Timothy letter 5

chapter five

over an elder shall you (SG) yourself not speak harshly, but be him exhort, as a father; the younger (men), as brothers;

older women, as mothers; the younger, as sisters, in complete purity.

give up honor to widows, who are indeed widows.

if however a certain widow has children or grandchildren, let them before all learn to be g-dfearing in their own house and repay good to the parents; because the these is acceptable before Hashem.

the real widow however and solitary has (her) confidence on Hashem, and keeps on with supplication and prayers by night and by day.

and those, who live in pleasures, are the living death.

this shall you (SG) command, so that they shall be without a flaw.

if however someone provides not for his relatives, and above all for his sons of house, has he denied the faith, and is worse than a non-believer.

as a widow shall counted be those, who are not less than sixty years old, the wife of one man,

about whom is it given testimony about her deeds good, if she did brought up children, welcomed strangers, washed the feet of the holy ones, helped the sufferers, followed all kinds of deeds good.

the younger widows however shall you (SG) not accept; because when they live in pleasures against the Moshiach, want they wedding to have;

they deserve a judgment, because they have abandoned their first commitment.

and in the same time learn they to be lazy, going about from house to house; and not only to be lazy, but are also gossips and meddle themselves in the other's business, speaking what they must not.

I want therefore, that the young shall get married, bear children, take care of a household, and not give the opponent any kind of opportunity to slander;

because some have themselves already turned away after the Satan.

if a believing (woman) has widows with herself, shall she them care for, and not fall to burden the kehile; so as (kehile) to be able to care for the real widows.

the elders, who rule well, should considered to be as worthy a double honor, especially those, who toil themselves in word and in the teaching.

because the verse says: an ox while threshing shall you (SG) not muzzle the mouth (Deuteronomy 25, 4), and: the laborer is worthy the wages his.

against an elder shall you (SG) not accept any accusation, except unless according to two or three witnesses.

the sinners shall you (SG) reprove before all, so that even the remaining shall fear have.

I adjure you before Hashem and the Moshiach Yehoshua and the chosen angels, that you (SG) shall observe the these things without discrimination, and nothing do with partiality.

give anyone not any laying on of hands too quickly, participate you not in the sin of others; keep yourself clean.

drink no longer any water, but use a little wine on account of your stomach and the frequent sicknesses of yours.

the sins of some men are plainly clear, and go ahead to the judgment; other men however follow they (sins) after.

and also in the same way the deeds good are plainly clear beforehand, and those, which are not so, can yet not hidden be.
