chapter five

and I have seen on the right side of Him Who sits on the throne of glory a book, written of inside and of the back, sealed with seven seals.

and did see a strong angel call out with a loud voice: who is worthy to open this Sefer (Isa 29:11; Dan 8:26) and to break its seals?

and anyone has not been able in heaven, not on the earth, not under the earth, to open the Sefer, nor to look on it.

and I have a many wept, because anyone is not found become worthy to open the Sefer (Isa 29:11; Dan 8:26), not to look on it;

and one of the elders has to me said: weep not; look, the lion of the tribe Yehudah (Genesis 49, 9-10), the root of David (Yeshayah 11, 1, 10), has overcome was, to open up the Sefer and its seven seals.

and have seen in the midst of the throne of glory and the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, like ritually slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of G-d, sent over the whole earth.

and it (the Lamb) is come, and has taken the Sefer out the right hand of the One, Who sits on the throne of glory.

and when it has taken the book, are the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fall down before the Lamb, having every one a harp, and golden ketoret/incense bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

and they did sing a new worship song, so to say: worthy You are to take the Sefer and to open its seals; because You (sing) are ritually slaughtered become, and did ransom for Hashem with your own blood the (men) of every tribe and language and people and nation,

and them made for a kingdom to our G-d and for kohenim; and they will reign/rule upon the earth.

and (I) did look, and heard a voice of a many angels, around and around from the throne of glory and of the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands times thousand (Daniel 7, 10.);

and they have said with a loud voice; worthy is the Lamb, this slaughtered, to receive the power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!

and every created thing, which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and which is in them, all have I heard say: to Him, Who sits on the throne of glory, and to the Lamb, shall be the praise and the honor and the glory and the rule forever and ever! (Daniel 7, 13-14.)

and the four living creatures have said: Amen! and the elders did fall down and have self worship.
