²and the woman is conceived having become, and has given birth to a son; and she has him seen that he is handsome, and has him hidden three months.

³and when she has him more not able to hide, has she taken for him a ark of papyrus, and has it plastered with clay and with pitch; and she has put in it this child, and has it put in the marsh at edge of river.

⁴and his sister has self stood from the distance, to know what with him will happen.

⁵and the daughter of Pharaoh has gone down self to immerse in river; and her female servants were walking by side (of) river. has she seen this box among the marsh, and she has sent her servant, and has it allowed to take.

⁶and she has it opened, and has it seen – this child – just now a boy who cried. has she self felt compassion on him, and has said: from the children of the Hebrews is the this one.

⁷has his sister said to Pharaoh's daughter: shall I go and you(SG) to call a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she shall nurse for you(SG) this child?

⁸has Pharaoh's daughter to her said: go. is the young woman having gone and has called the mother of the child.

⁹and Pharaoh's daughter has to her said: take away the this child, and nurse it for me, and I will you(SG) give your wage. has the woman taken this child, and has it nursed.

¹⁰and when this child is bigger having become, has she him brought to Pharaoh's daughter, and he is her having become for a son. and she has called his name Moshe, and has said: because from water have I him brought out.

¹¹and it is having been in those days, that Moshe has grown up, is he having come out to his brothers, and has self observed to their hard work; and he has seen a man an Egyptian strike a man a certain Hebrew, of his brothers.

¹²has he self looked here and there, and when he has seen that no person is there, has he killed the Egyptian, and has him hidden in sand.

¹³and he is having come out on second day, look two men Hebrews to fight each other; has he said to the one who was wrong: for why strike you your fellow?

¹⁴has that one said: who has you made for a man a master and a judge over us? or do you intend me to kill, in same way as you (sg) have killed the Egyptian? has Moshe fear seized, and he has said: for surely, the thing is discovered having become.

¹⁵and Pharaoh has heard of the this thing, and he has wanted to kill Moshe. has Moshe fled from before Pharaoh, and he has self settled in land of Midian; and he was seated by a well.

¹⁶and the priest of Midian has had seven daughters; were they having come, and have drawn (water) and filled the troughs, so as to water the sheep of their father.

¹⁷but the shepherds were having come, and have them driven away. has Moshe got up and has them helped, and has watered their sheep.

¹⁸and when they are having come to their father Reuel, has he said: for what are you (PL) today having come thus quickly?

¹⁹have they said: a man an Egyptian has us saved from the hand of the shepherds, and also to draw (water) has he drawn (water) for us, and has watered the sheep.

²⁰has he said to his daughters: and where is he? for what then have you (PL) the man left behind? call him, and shall he to eat bread.

²¹and Moshe has consented to stay with the man; and he has given Moshe his daughter Zipporah.

²²and she has given birth to a son, and he has called his name Gershom, because he has said: I am a foreigner in a foreign land.

²³and it is having been in that long time, has died the king of Egypt, and the children of Israel have sighed from the slavery, and they have cried out, and their cry is having gone to G-d from this slavery.

²⁴and G-d has heard their groaning, and G-d has remembered on his covenant with Avraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

²⁵and G-d has seen the children of Israel, and G-d has taken note of (it).
